Indoor/Outdoor Programs Mini Olympics The Mini Olympics packages are very diverse. Whether you are looking to build team spirit or just burn off some energy between meetings, we have challenges for your group. You will have the option of traditional sports (like Basketball or Volleyball) or non traditional sports (like Brain Teasers or Sumo Wrestling). Survivor Challenge If your group likes the reality show Survivor then they might want to try these team initiatives. You may be asked to start a fire, build a shelter, find water or a combination of several tasks. If your team is able to “Out Wit, Out Last, Out Play”, they may be the winners of the Survivor Challenge. Amazing Race If you are a high energy group that is looking to burn off some energy, we have a team challenge for you! You will be required to work in teams of 3 or 4 looking for check points by bike, foot and boat. We will help you find out just how much mental and physical endurance your group has. Mission Impossible Using a computer interface, your team will be sent on a number of different “Missions”. To complete these missions the teams will be required to solve riddles, unlock secret boxes and put together clues. The quickest team to complete all of the missions will be the winning team. Apprentice Your team will be given three scenario options, “Create” a commercial, “Sell” a product or “Develop” a new product or service. The team that has the most creative idea or successful sales is the winning team. Outdoor Programs High and Low Ropes Do you remember playing on the jungle gym as a child? This activity is similar but you are now attached with a harness and ropes. These activities will test your team both mentally and physically. Rock Climbing The climbing takes place along the impressive limestone rock of the Niagara Escarpment, in an area known as Metcalfe Rock. With heights ranging from 25 - 60 feet, the climbs are fun and accommodate all levels from beginner to advanced climbers. Canoeing or Kayaking The Beaver River is a peaceful slow moving water way, ideal for all ages and abilities. Your group will be taught different paddle strokes to control the boat as well as river safety. This knowledge will prepare you for future water challenges. Caving The Metcalfe caves are very large and some rooms can even fit a group of 12. Bring your old clothes because you may be on your hands and knees to get through some crevices. Scenic Caves Eco Tour Challenge Once you have your full body harness on you will clip into two cables and walk through the tree tops, with incredible views of the Niagara Escarpment and Georgian Bay. Brain teasers may have to be solved along the way, to add to the team building challange. Kids Camp The aim of our Kids Camp is to provide a unique outdoor experience where children are challenged to develop skills that increase their self-confidence and encourages respect and responsibility for themselves and the environment. We believe kids learn by doing and provide outdoor-based activities that encourage active participation in a safe and fun environment. Kids will have the opportunity to try activities such as rock climbing, kayaking, caving and even spending a day on an organic farm leaving them with a memorable and enriched summer camp experience.
